Oftentimes, small business owners are so busy focusing on their own company that they forget to track their competitors. Obviously, businesses that offer unique products and services thrive in the industry, as there are no competitors to interfere with their niche. Therefore, it is vital to check on your competitors to make sure that they are not using aspects of your brand, such as your logo, tagline, products, etc. Protecting your brand means not allowing anyone to use any part of your marketing plan without your permission.
