6. Understand your team
Choosing a team of people who understand your brand, your target audience and your industry is important, but it’s equally important that you understand them. Remember that the people you work with on an everyday basis will be looking up to you, and regularly working and communicating with you. If you find yourself unable to really understand the kind of people they are, and develop a close working relationship with them, then you will undoubtedly run into problems.
Choosing people who are great on paper is important, but you should also take extra care to choose a team that you can relate to, and work well with.
